Foods to Avoid During Pregnancy

Pregnancy is an amazing amount of time in a woman’s life. Nurturing and growing this new person can easily feel amazing. During this time, you need to make sure that you are feeding yourself as well
as your developing baby the best possible foods. Few foods are extremely necessary for pregnancy and at the same time frame, few foods should be avoided to consider good care of the baby and yourself. To keep you both safe, the following are some foods and beverages which aren't safe for consumption while pregnant:

Alcohol: 
There seems to be a large amount of news lately about using a drink or two while pregnant, but there are warning labels on beer, wine, and red wine bottles for any reason. Drinking during pregnancy can result in frightening complications for your baby. It’s better to shelf any drinking until after your child arrives.

Caffeine: 
Avoid caffeine altogether during first trimester and then on try to limit intake to 200mg/day that is equal to 2 mugs of instant coffee / tea, 5 cans of standard cola and four (50g) of plain bar chocolate.

Soft Cheeses 
The next to avoid is the soft cheeses and also the reason why these soft cheeses ought to be avoided is that the way they're made is unknown and in addition they contain harmful bacteria. Unpasteurized cheeses include: brie, feta, Camambert, bleu cheese, queso blanco, queso fresco etc

Raw Eggs 
Taking raw eggs can result in Salmonella. Foods to avoid include while pregnant: cake batter, raw cookie dough, homemade frozen treats, custards, mayo, egg nog or Hollandaise sauce.

Raw Meat 
Raw meat can infect you with salmonella or toxoplasmosis. Foods to prevent during pregnancy includes : sushi, rare meats.

Raw fish and seafood: 
Raw fish and seafood might have bacteria and parasites; nasty items to consume while pregnant. Make sure all shellfish is cooked until it's firm and that fish is cooked through. Some fish, even fully cooked ought to be limited to two servings each week while pregnant because of the risk of high mercury levels. 

Protein: 
Foods containing large amounts of vit a include liver, and should be eaten with an occasional basis only. Avoid Sushi too. Factory farmed animal proteins contain high amounts of hormones and antibiotics, which could cross the placental barrier in to the baby, as they create acid in your body, which require minerals to neutralize them which eventually can rob your child of vital minerals necessary for development and growth.
